**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Navy Installation Field Technician** to join and support our team in **San Diego, CA, must be local to area** . _This role does require sporadic travel up to 25%+ of the time._ **JOB DUTIES:** + Motivated individuals wanted for the installation of electronic and support equipment aboard U.S. Naval, Coast Guard, and MSC Vessels. + Will be required to work independently, as part of a team, or as a team leader to perform installation tasks demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to identify and resolve installation issues. + Tasked with reading, interpreting, and working from technical data, test procedures, arrangement and block wiring diagrams. + Written and verbal communication skills must be strong enough to effectively communicate with co-workers, managers and customers. + Additional work includes redlining and/or maintaining documentation such as engineering drawings and conducting on-site installation troubleshooting. **Qualifications** **REQUIREMENTS:** + Associate’s degree and at least three (3) years of experience with general cable installation. Additional experience accepted in lieu of degree. + Must be a U.S. Citizen. + Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance after start. **DESIRED SKILLS:** + Experience performing installation work on U.S. Navy ships. Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
