Shipboard Laborer
The Laborer will be responsible for supporting a variety of general tasking supporting Navy shipboard installations and modernization. **Responsibilities** + Laborers perform mainly physical labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving supplies and materials. + Performs such duties as a fire watch, cable puller, and as an electrician's helper. + Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of equipment. + Complete simple routine tasks under close supervision from lead type personnel. **Qualifications** **Desired Qualifications:** + OSHA 10 7615 Training (Certificate or OSHA issue card) required by NAVSEA Standard Item 009-74. + Cableway Improvement Program (CIP) IAW NAVSEA 9304.1. + High School Diploma **Physical Demands:** + Ability to work in a shipboard industrial environment. + Ability to lift, transport and carry (heavy) equipment and cabling up to 50lbs. + Ability to work on and climb ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, outdoors in all types of weather conditions and in cramped spaces. **Pay Range** (The pay range for this job level is provided as general guidance only, and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
