The role
As a Shiplift Operations Manager within our Infrastructure Development section, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you'll be key to the business.
You will work in collaboration with the Shiplift Facility Manager, as well as MoD Customer (Internal & External) as required to deliver the required outputs.
Day to day, as the Facility Operations Manager you will ensure delivery of the planned operations of the Shiplift to meet safety, quality, cost and performance and targets.
Essential experience of the Shiplift Operations Manager:
Proven experience of the management and successful delivery of berthing or docking operations or similar programmes, including use of maintenance management or planning systems Knowledge of business processes (HR, Finance Commercial) Demonstrable leadership skills gained within a management or supervisory role
37 hours per week. This role is based on-site at HMNB Clyde with some opportunity for remote working (1-2 days per week remote)
Qualifications for the Shiplift Operations Manager:
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance level for this role
