Shipment Planner - Ocean and Air Transportation (m/f)

 

Job Description:

Optimization and planning of international sea and air freight transport with contracted carriers, as well as monitoring the entire transport process from pickup to delivery;

Finding solutions in cases where the actual transport does not proceed according to plan;

Monitoring transport costs and ensuring compliance with legislation and established compliance and control systems;

Identifying optimal solutions for the transport of goods based on given requirements;

Monitoring the quality and reliability of transport using an established measurement system;

Responsibility for internal and external communication related to organized transport.

Requirements:

University degree or higher education in logistics, economics, technical, or organizational fields;

1–3 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in international logistics processes, or openness to first-time employment;

Good communication skills;

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;

Self-initiative;

Strong planning and organizational abilities;

Analytical skills;

Proficiency in MS Office tools; experience with SAP is an advantage.
