The warehouse technician/receiver/driver is responsible for all shipping and receiving duties as well as installing and operating audiovisual equipment. The warehouse technician/receiver/driver will work in a warehouse environment where they will test selected equipment prior to delivery. The warehouse technician/receiver/driver will need a valid Class 3 driver's license for this position and will be required to interact with external customers daily. The work schedule will be flexible as many events are held at night and on weekends. It is of the utmost importance that all packages be shipped on time and in perfect condition. It is also extremely important that incoming shipments are received and distributed efficiently to company personnel to ensure that our customers receive comprehensive and professional support. This position reports to the warehouse manager or operations manager.
Main Duties
Perform general physical tasks to load, unload, sort and move equipment by hand or with material handling equipment.Pack, seal and label materials for shipment.Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures and regulatory compliance measures.Drive, deliver, install and operate audiovisual equipment.Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading and packing slips to route materials.Complete daily shipping and receiving logs.Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and give instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.Consult and communicate with designated representatives to handle problems such as damage, shortages and nonconformance to required specifications.Order and store shipping supplies to maintain product inventory.Maintain a clean environment in shipping and receiving areas.Manage the inventory and overall appearance of the warehouse.Complete incident reports related to health and safety issues.Always ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.Assist the warehouse coordinator with order planning.Complete any other duties as needed.Required Qualifications

Warehouse
Work is performed in partner facilities as well as in a warehouse environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines defined by Encore in a warehouse environment and when traveling to an individual facility or partner institutions in the city or region. Warehouse work will be performed in an environment exposed to outside temperatures and dirt, sand and/or dust. Noise levels in the workplace will vary from moderately quiet to noisy. Team members may use high-end audiovisual equipment and electrical components. Work schedules may include irregular hours and on-call status, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
