To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Handler located in Coopersville, Michigan.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Handler role involves being responsible for handling tasks related to storing, counting, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This includes packaging, receiving, shipping, and moving materials within the warehouse.
What a typical day looks like:
Assist the logistics coordinator with morning and afternoon shipments.Handle the receiving of incoming goods and materials.Organize and put away finished goods in designated storage areas.Review shipping schedules to determine what can be shipped and when.Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock checks as needed.Ensure all shipments are properly packaged and labeled for delivery.Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Previous experience working in a warehouse.Proficient in operating forklifts.Familiarity with using scanners and computers.Knowledge of Excel and Outlook.Ability to handle equipment safely and effectively.Strong commitment to safety protocols.Willingness to work consistently and reliably.Desire for career advancement within the company.Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.Understanding of inventory management and proactive in addressing low stock levels.Strong communication skills and willingness to speak up when needed.Ability to speak and understand English.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
