Responsibilities:

Prepare products for domestic and international shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveryProcess both domestic and international shipments through various carriers with precise details in compliance with DOT and IATA regulationsEnsure compliance to DOT 49 CFR 172.70 along with Import and Export requirementsSchedule and secure cost-effective transportation of products to meet our customers’ shipping requirementsAffixes required shipping labels on packaging to ensure compliance to standard work.Manage daily communication via e-mail and telephone with the Sales / Order Administration Department and freight companiesAssembles foam packs, wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containersPerform receiving of all incoming shipments including raw materials, verify packing slip/items received against purchase orders, visually inspect items for damages and place items in specific storage locationsMaterial handling of items to specific cells within manufacturing in a “First In First Out” methodologyMaintains inventory with a high level of accuracyRole may require standing for a significant portion of the work day, in some areas, there is a need to lift materials up to 85 lbs.QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Experience:

3+ years previous experience in international shipment processing and compliancyExperience shipping with UPS, FedEx, and filling out various freight documentations is highly preferred.Experience in using MRP Systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management skills.Must be familiar with basic component identification, part number systems, material handling equipment, and the inventory management system. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

The hourly range for this role is $21.00 to $28.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

The compensation range for this role is $21 - $28 USD per hour.
