Essential Job Responsibilities:\n\nShipping & Receiving Associate\nProcess outgoing parcels.\nInput data in SAP system & process shipments utilizing ERP system\nPrepare export documentation including commercial invoices and SLI\nSchedule pickups for outgoing parcels through DHL, FedEx, and UPS\nSchedule freight using TMS system\nEnsure all shipping procedures are followed\nMaintain shipping documentation.\nCommunicate professionally with members by answering any questions regarding shipping cost, tracking information, transit times, etc.\nManage dock access of drivers and deliveries. Assist in receiving of parcels and freight.\nSupport Mailroom Associate with incoming parcels & outgoing mail as needed.\nAdheres to all vendor compliance requirements for Shipping & Receiving\nSolves day-to-day problems regarding Shipping\/Receiving services.\nEnsure adherence to business guidelines, safety & security procedures\nOther duties as assigned by management\n\n
Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n3-5 years in Shipping & Receiving with extensive knowledge on how processes within SAP\/ERP\nExperience in exports required\nDemonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to change in the work environment.\nStrong work ethic; diplomatic; team player and service-oriented; builds strong working relationships.\nHandle multiple projects at one time.\nPhysical effort is required which may involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing or similar activities as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.\nAttention to detail.\nExcellent communication both written and verbal.\nAbility to identify and communicate process improvements\n\n
