A little about the position : Job Summary As a Shipping Assistant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our shipping operations, including scheduling, coordinating, and tracking shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience managing a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Some of What You Will Do : + Work closely with other departments, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure that customer needs are met + Continuously analyze and optimize the shipping process to improve efficiency and reduce costs + Maintain accurate records of all shipments and communicate status updates to customers and other stakeholders + Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the shipping process + 7-day confirmations for outfitting + shipments. + Answer phones as needed + Communicate with dealer on all aspects of load preparations What You Bring to the Table : (Qualifications) + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders + Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records + Familiarity with shipping regulations and compliance requirements + Proficiency in using shipping software and systems + Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines + Knowledge of general pricing tariffs to negotiate with freight carriers + Experience with UPS World Ship and small parcel packaging techniques Why should you come w ork with Us ?
