What you'll do as a Shipping Associate:

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the process of shipping hollow metal door products, working in a variety of workstations including but not limited to: packing, wrapping, crating, loading, labeling. Perform various shipping operations as assigned by the Leadership Team.May require retrieval of door parts necessary for completion of finished door product.Understand and identify all components that comprise the finished product as described in the SDI handbook.Report production and quality data as dictated in daily travelers to supervisor.

Work Experience

The preferred candidate might:

Operate simple hand or power tools to pack/move required door materials.Handle materials such as metal, poly, glue, etc.Lift, push, and pull to 75 pounds repetitively.Perform repetitive tasks such as twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.The noise level of the warehouse is moderate to loud.Possess basic computer skills, basic math skills required, proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
