Position Summary The Shipping Associate is a crucial member of the Akina Pharmacy team, responsible for ensuring that all prescription orders are packaged and shipped with precision, care, and efficiency. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to maintaining high-quality packaging standards, and adherence to established company protocols and shipping procedures. As a Shipping Associate, you will assemble, label, and verify outgoing packages to meet Akina Pharmacy’s high standards for accuracy and presentation, ensuring a positive experience for our customers. You will also manage shipping logistics, restock materials, and maintain a clean, organized workspace to support the smooth operation of the shipping department. You will love it here if you are motivated by Akina’s Core Identity Values: + Excellence Always  + Go-Getter’s Unite + Compassion For All + Called To Serve You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and get, want, and have capacity to do the following things: + Prepare and Package Orders with Excellence: + Assemble, label, and package prescription orders with precision, ensuring every shipment meets Akina Pharmacy's high standards for quality, accuracy, and presentation as a key customer touchpoint. + Follow Company Protocols and Job Aides: + Adhere to detailed company shipping protocols, job aids, and quality control procedures to ensure consistent and accurate packaging and shipping of all orders. + Manage Shipping Logistics and Accuracy: + Generate and verify shipping labels, coordinate timely outgoing shipments, and monitor tracking to ensure accurate and prompt delivery to customers. + Maintain and Restock Shipping Materials: + Regularly inventory and restock shipping supplies, maintaining an organized and efficient workspace to support uninterrupted operations. + Inspect and Verify Packaging for Accuracy: + Conduct final checks on packaged orders to ensure contents, labeling, and documentation match the order requirements before shipping. We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll be accountable for hitting the following numbers: + Receive incoming shipments (10-20 per day) + Prepare, assemble, and label packages for outgoing shipment (200-300 per day) If you want to come to work, learn, and hit those numbers, you’ll be recognized and rewarded.  Our company runs on EOS purely. That means as a member of this team, you will have a leader who: + Gives clear directions and expectations + Makes sure you have the necessary tools + Delegates appropriately + Has effective meetings + Meets one-on-one with you quarterly or more, if needed + Rewards and recognizes your performance Experience and Qualifications + Experience in Shipping or Packaging: + At least 1 year of experience in a shipping, packaging, or similar role, or the ability to learn and execute detailed shipping processes efficiently. + Attention to Detail and Accuracy: + Proven ability to assemble, label, and verify orders with precision while following detailed company protocols or job aids. + Physical Capability and Stamina: + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages weighing up to 50lb as part of daily responsibilities. + Commitment to Quality and Efficiency: + Demonstrated understanding of how packaging quality impacts the customer experience, with the ability to work quickly without compromising standards.
