Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Associate Packer - Wood Saw. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The rate for this position is $21.25 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. In this function, you will:
•    Utilize wood saw
•    Ability to use a palm nailer, staple gun, bander, and hammer.
•    Wood cutting as needed.
•    Able to use RF scanners accurately and efficiently.
•    Keep work areas clean and safe.
•    Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned as outlined below: 
      o    Load flatbed trucks.
      o    Picking/Pulling orders.
      o    Packing orders.
      o    Verifying for correct parts, quantities, finish.
      o    Checking stock.
      o    Replenishing inventory as needed.
      o    Stock checks.
      o    Loading LTL trucks.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
•    Must be able to work overtime with short notice.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•    One year of previous wood crafting experience.
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
•    No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Three (3) or more years of previous wood crafting experience.

•    Ability to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
•    Fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
•    Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
•    Must be able to work overtime with short notice.

Physical Demands:
•    Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
•    Able to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without accommodation and occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance.
•    Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas).
•    Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity.
•    Exposure to cold and heat according to weather conditions when shipping doors are open.
