Shipping Clerk

Job Summary

 

The Shipping Clerk is a crucial member of Boyd Allenton’s Shipping and Receiving team. The primary responsibility of this position is assuring customer satisfaction through accurate and timely loading of orders onto trucks to meet customer requirements while also maintaining the integrity of the products. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in maintaining accurate documentation and validating final product shipments.   

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

 

Inspect finished product (final inspection) Prepare containers to be shipped per customer requirements Keep daily logs, inventory, and rotate stock Prepare shipping documents Arrange for pick-up of all out-going material Segregate non-conforming material Load and unload trucks Oversee work performed by employees assigned to support department Perform receiving procedures Requisition required supplies Take care of UPS delivered and sent out Compare RMA’s to paperwork and forward to QA Maintain a clean and orderly work area Must support and follow the QMS requirements Observe all Boyd safety and OSHA guidelines and procedures Perform other duties as assigned
