Shipping Clerk
**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Monday- Friday 6am- 2:30pm ($16/hr)** **Job Description** As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing and kitting materials for the production departments. You will safely carry out the warehouse processes by closely following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID), and work orders related to material handling, equipment operation, and packaging. You will ensure accurate and timely receipt and filling of orders, while adhering to company SOPs and WIDs. **Responsibilities** + Prepare and kit materials for the production departments. + Receive and fill orders safely, accurately, and in a timely manner. + Place incoming and outgoing materials, finished goods, raw materials, and supplies in the appropriate locations. + Use tools and equipment such as computers, handheld scanners, tape guns, calculators, measuring tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, and swing arms. + Follow all safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements. + Maintain accurate inventory in all designated warehouses and locations. + Ensure work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized. + Ensure products meet quality standards by cooperating with upstream and downstream departments to implement mutual inspection, find and correct quality errors, record, and report problems. + Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update inventory management systems. + Actively participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean, and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities. + Work effectively as part of a team in the warehouse process and assist with training and mentoring coworkers. + Focus on development through timely and proactive completion of training. + Adhere to schedules to ensure production goals are met. **Essential Skills** + Experience in general production, shipping and receiving, packing, packaging, and material handling. + Experience in inventory control, loading, and picking. + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work in and out of a cleanroom environment. **Why Work Here?** This role offers a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with significant potential for career growth and promotion due to the company's rapid expansion. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Logan, Utah. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.40 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
