Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability. Completes shipping reports. Assist the Department in providing a clear and timely flow of information to and from Customer Service and all transportation vendors. Responsibilities Perform administrative functions related to the processing and shipping of product which may include but is not limited to reports, data entry, scanning, transmittals, correspondence, photocopies, communication, filing, organization and/or resolution of shipment or customer service issues Follow-up and maintain accurate historical records and ensure timely submission of all required paperwork, including forwarding to the appropriate department in a timely manner Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in recording and storage of all information through the proper use of databases, files, tracking systems, processes and/or procedures As assigned, may serve as back-up to the warehouse associate Maintain productivity requirements through the use of system checks, reports, procedures, equipment and visual observation on a daily basis Maintain a clean and organized work area and storage areas related to the recordkeeping requirements of the position Other duties as may be assigned Qualifications Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing in the English language High attention to detail, organized and able to process large volumes of paperwork quickly and accurately Requires sight, hearing and verbal communications skills both in person and on the telephone along with the eye, hand and body coordination necessary to efficiently operate any assigned equipment within the department and/or warehouse Must be able to physically walk from location to location, sit, stand, lift 70 lbs., bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and/or climb Education & Experience High School Degree with some prior warehouse experience in an automated environment What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: https://careers.leviton.com/benefits Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
