**Job Title: Shipping Clerk**
**Job Description**
This position is responsible for the set up and operation of equipment which blends, mixes, packages, and transports liquid or dry chemicals that comprise our customer products. The role ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up, start, and run all machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating and safety procedures as well as ISO standards.
+ Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and insert into machinery, or ensure the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and insert pre-blended materials into machinery.
+ Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
+ Operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures.
+ Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.
+ Take samples of materials to the lab for evaluation and instructions on any batch adjustments if needed.
+ Refer issues or problems to Production Lead or Production/Shift Supervisor for disposition.
+ Perform all required machine cleaning.
+ Complete and maintain all required system inputs and transactions, ensuring data integrity.
+ Document work completed as required, including logs, data reports, and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least one year of production experience in a manufacturing plant involving mixing, blending, batching, or production of powdered or liquid parts.
+ Valid Driver’s License and Good Driving Record.
+ US High School diploma, GED equivalency, or relevant experience.
+ Computer literate.

**Work Environment**
The work environment frequently exposes employees to marked changes in temperature and humidity, dust, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. Employees must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds and be able to lift, push, or pull up to 200 pounds with the aid of equipment. The role requires standing and walking for a 10-hour shift and the ability to communicate orally and in writing. Employees must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform assigned tasks and be able to read at a level of comprehension necessary to meet job requirements.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
