Shipping Clerk - Weekly Pay!!

Job Description

I am seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to assist in the warehouse for a company that specializes in aluminum commercial storefront doors. The ideal candidate will ensure orders maintain internal schedules to be on time for customers, follow directions from managers and functional leads, and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure orders maintain internal schedules to keep pace with customer deadlines.Follow directions from managers and functional leads to complete daily tasks.Contribute to continuous improvement activities as needed.Communicate clearly and professionally in a customer-facing role.Essential Skills1 or more years of shipping and receiving experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with machines available to assist in moving products.Strong communication skills for customer interaction.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with assembly, blueprint reading, and mechanical assembly.Proficiency with general labor tasks, power tools, hand tools, and saw operation.Mechanical aptitude and experience with metal cutting, inventory management, and forklift operation.Skills in shipping and receiving, tape measuring, mechanical installation, hardware installation, glass cutting, and installation assembly.Experience with loading, picking, warehouse inventory, cycle counts, unloading, labeling, and loading.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing machine/fabrication shop, which is a loud industrial environment. The position involves lifting (not repetitive) and includes customer service and shipping and receiving tasks. Forklift operation experience is preferred but not required, as training can be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Valley City, Utah.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
