Job Overview:
To schedule freight shipments, maintain appropriate database and spreadsheet functions, print appropriate paperwork, and to assist with the research of issues. Process daily orders, perform customer service functions, run necessary reports, and troubleshoot orders when necessary.
Essential Job Functions:
• Schedule freight shipment appointments and call freight companies when needed.
• Receive and print various documents.
• Work with analyst via phone or email to resolve issues.
• Research various issues for all departments.
• Key into databases or spreadsheets, print and receive documents.
• Perform various Customer Service Requests pertaining to orders and MRA’s.
• Research all orders.
• Process MRA’s for distributors.
• Generate and process various types of inventory transactions
• Generate various lists and reports, distribute as appropriate.
• Key data into the computer system.
• Organize, file, and box appropriate paperwork as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to key data rapidly and accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
• Must have functional working knowledge of AS400 software and JDA.
• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to interpret numerical information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to work well with others and under restrictive deadlines.
• Flexible attitude toward job duties, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks upon request.
• Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of tools, brands, and product numbers
• Prior administrative experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements**:
• *Must be able to always (95% - 100%) lift and maneuver 10 pounds in any range of motion combination
from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.
• *Must be able to frequently (65% - 90%) lift and maneuver 25 pounds in any range of motion combination
from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.
• *Must be able to often (35% - 60%) lift and maneuver 40 pounds in any range of motion combination from
ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.
• *Must be able to occasionally (5% - 30%) lift and maneuver 70 pounds (with assistance) in any range of
motion combination from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.
• *Must be able to frequently (65% - 90%) walk and stand for the 8-hour shift.
Travel Requirements:
• On-site critical position. Travel not required.
