Shipping Clerk (Perry Harvest)

Summary

Provides basic administrative and/or clerical support generally to Shipping Department. Setup, monitor, adjust, and perform routine adjustments to inventory, including scanning of product.

 

Shift:  Monday-Friday approximately 8:15am-5:00pm

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Send requested load sheet out daily. Manifest loads. Take picture of wach outbound trailer. Trailer checks. Write up loads for shift and to start up next shift. Order tols needed for shipping task. Communicate with Team Lead and Line lead on any issues within department. Complete task needed to ensure daily production of the department is not hindered (trailers in the door, loas sheet written up). Complete HACCP Hold Log. Complete QA Hold Log. Fill and complete SOP daily. Communicate  with scheduler on any schedule changes. Send HACCP hold emails as necessary. Fill out incoming pallet check sheet. Document temp recorder information. Fill out trailer inventory daily. Other items as management may require. Minimum Education

High School or equivalent

Experience Requirements 1 to 2 years related experience. Knowledge of standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience Preferred Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
