Shipping Coordinator


 


 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Supervise assigned staff and handle related activities, including on-the-job training (OJT), employee development, motivation, payroll, and performance evaluations. Coordinate activities across various departments, such as Manufacturing Planning and Traffic and Customs, to ensure the timely shipment of finished products, scrap, and miscellaneous items to the end customer. Procure packing materials and provide the vital follow-up to ensure an adequate supply is maintained. Facilitate the flow of returnable packaging materials between the supplier and the plant, and vice versa, through effective communication and coordination. Generate shipping documents and ensure their timely delivery to the Traffic and Customs department Maintain accurate shipment records, perform critical analyses to identify discrepancies, and investigate their root causes. Review and analyze the aged finished goods report to identify orders that have remained in the shipping area for extended periods, taking appropriate action, such as advising the order administrator. Analyze the ship set report and coordinate with the manufacturing team to complete orders on time, prioritizing those with high sales value when necessary. Who You Are:

  For This Role, You Will Need: 2 to 4 years as a buyer of raw material, equipment, machinery and supplies industry preferably methalmechanic.
