**Position:** Logistics Coordinator **Description:** We’re in need of a motivated Shipping Coordinator for our logistics department. This role balances between floor and office tasks, overseeing 10-12 shipments daily. Responsibilities include operating a stand-up forklift, organizing and palletizing shipments, and consolidating items for both domestic and international delivery. **Responsibilities:** + Operate a stand-up forklift to retrieve products and load trucks + Prepare export documents for international shipments + Coordinate transportation to meet customer requirements + Generate and process Bills of Lading and daily shipping documents + Track and trace package shipments + Prepare packaging for international deliveries + Classify and determine correct values for dutiable shipments + Resolve shipping complaints + Prepare various reports as needed + Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders + Maintain complete and accurate records of all shipping paperwork + Communicate effectively with plant personnel and external customers + Operate a powered industrial truck and pallet jack safely and efficiently + Perform standardized duties and tasks as needed + Comply with standard work practices and SOPs + Adhere to all EHS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures **Essential Skills:** + Experience operating a stand-up forklift + Strong attention to detail + Ability to lift 50 pounds and repack boxes for shipment + Experience with ERP systems, Oracle preferred + Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes + Proficiency with Bills of Lading, logistics, inventory, transportation, and freight + Data entry skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + High school diploma/GED required + A minimum of one (1) year of related experience + Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal + Ability to work under moderate supervision + Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments in a professional manner + Exhibit attention to detail + Flexibility and agility in an ever-changing environment + Consistent attendance and punctuality + Ability to work overtime as required by the business + Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment + A minimum of one (1) year of Forklift experience and certification + Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification (DOT) or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire **Why Work Here?** + This position provides opportunities for growth once hired permanently, with the potential to advance into a buyer or planner role.
