Shipping Coordinator
The Shipping Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods from the warehouse to customers and other destinations. This position involves managing shipping logistics, coordinating with transportation providers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. Additionally, the role requires maintaining strong communication with customers, internal teams, and external partners to uphold operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** + Champion the company’s values and set a positive example in all interactions. + Support and enhance the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) processes. + Understand and contribute to achieving company objectives, prioritizing tasks to meet or exceed performance metrics. + Coordinate shipping activities, including scheduling and communication with transportation providers and customers. + Ensure shipments are accurate, transportation is efficient, products are inspected, and all required documentation is completed. + Oversee warehouse operations, including maintenance of equipment, racking systems, and proper handling of waste and returned materials. + Act as a professional and approachable representative of the company in interactions with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. + Assist with special projects and other logistics-related tasks as needed. **Experience | Qualifications** + Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field is preferred. + Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS). + Experience managing material handling equipment and storage systems, as well as waste management practices. **Skills & Competencies** + Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. + Excellent coordination and communication skills to engage with transportation providers and customers. + Attention to detail with a focus on inspecting shipments for accuracy and efficiency. + Proactive problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering results. + Professional communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships. + Proficiency in warehouse management software and other relevant digital tools. + Knowledge of documentation and reporting processes for logistics and shipping. **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
