SHIFT:
Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm; Weekend possibility about 20% of the time.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an important role as it is responsible for the management of on-site inventory including inventory accuracy, adjustments, and storage. The position will work closely with logistics and site leadership to identify potential issues related to inventory, recommend changes to accommodate, and collaborate with others to enact those recommendations. The position will help support other areas of logistics scope including equipment and various strategic project work. Also, the role may be asked to work in other areas of logistics as needed based on site conditions and priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Cycle counting of site inventory if needed – back up logistics techEnsure accurate on-hand inventory.Updating line manager and/or others regarding inventory needs and/or concernsProjecting storage capacity needs, identify and recommend actions where constraints existWork with site/logistics teams to ensure adherence to key processes ensuring product rotation, care, and storageCollaborate with site teams as well as planning teams to ensure long-term storage capacity plans are in place.Maintain equipment safety system, training, certifications, and maintenance recordsProject & efficiency improvement work as neededOther activities as deemed necessary by line manager or site leadership.As a site-based logistics resource, this position requires working closely with warehouse leads, logistics tech, associate logistics managers, and logistics managers to ensure inventory integrity and accuracy as well as proper plans to store, move, consume, and ship on-hand inventory. This position will be responsible for longer-term planning and management of site inventory to ensure future constraints are managed as to not impede site operations. Other areas of logistics support will be in scope including strategic project and efficiency enhancement work, equipment oversight and planning, and other areas as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
