Shipping Discrepancy Analyst

General Purpose:
Corsair is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipment Discrepancy Analyst to ensure that our shipment processes meet the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. By diligently tracking and investigating discrepancies reported by our customers, you will play a pivotal role in upholding Corsair's reputation for unmatched customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Discrepancy Investigation: Efficiently track, analyze, and resolve shipment discrepancies. This includes reviewing key shipping documents such as Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Proof of Delivery (POD) to determine the probable cause, whether due to distribution centers, carriers, or customers. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive log of all reported discrepancies. Produce and present reports to management, highlighting frequency, causes, and trends of discrepancies. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, sales operations, and accounts payable teams to swiftly identify and address discrepancies, especially when chargebacks arise. Chargeback Management: Actively engage with the accounts payable department to dispute chargebacks when necessary, ensuring Corsair's financial interests are safeguarded. Credit Notes Management: Oversee the initiation or approval of credit notes when discrepancies arise due to errors on Corsair's end, or its distribution center or carrier. Continuous Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and enact improvements in the shipping process, aiming to minimize discrepancies.Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. At least 2 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management. Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to juggle multiple tasks. Robust analytical skills and a penchant for data-driven decision-making. Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in presenting findings and insights to teams or management. Collaborative team player attitude. Fluency in English, ensuring smooth communication with the US-based supervisor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including functions, pivot tables, and formatting. Familiarity with Smartsheet is a significant advantage.
