Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron’s practices.

In Finance, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in different functional groups such as Accounts Payable, Midstream Accounting, Bank, Revenue and Retail, Credits and Receivables, Intercompany, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Upstream Accounting and Business Analysis and Support.

This position will provide a wide variety of financial analysis to support the Shipping Business Unit’s management reporting, corporate reporting and external reporting deliverables. This role will liaise closely with the Shipping Finance Team and will act as an integral part of the team – providing comprehensive financial support to complete regular close activities as well as forecasting and business planning processes.

KJRs include:

Participates in analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and operating results of Shipping business unitCompiles basic business performance reporting for Shipping BU managementSupport various month-end close activities and accounting entries, including associated account reconciliationsLeverage digital expertise and process standardization to find efficiencies and optimize workflows

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accountingMinimum of 10 (10) years overall work experience.Good oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skillsMust have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in SAP/JDEGeneral Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process exposure preferred.
