Shipping/Logistics Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive **Shipping/Logistics Lead** to join our dynamic team in the Brunswick, ME area. This position will work closely with the logistics and finance teams to support the shipping and administrative functions essential for our daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent customer service abilities. This is a hands-on role that will have a direct impact on the success of our business.
As a key player in the logistics department, you will assist with managing inventory, organizing shipments, and supporting general operations to ensure smooth business operations. This role is critical for the ongoing success of our logistics operations and requires the ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist with processing major customer orders and verify product inventory across primary and secondary warehouses.
+ Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Pallet Sheets, and coordinate with the Production Shipper for pallet creation and preparation for pickup.
+ Work closely with Production Staff and the Freezer Supervisor to maintain an efficient freezer organization.
+ Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures established by the Director of Logistics.
+ Assist the Logistics Director with scheduling the delivery and pickup of orders.
**Qualifications:**
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
+ Inventory and warehouse experience.
+ Ability to work comfortably with a diverse workforce.
+ Strong administrative skills with the ability to set priorities and manage tasks efficiently under minimal supervision.
**Preferred Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
+ Ability to learn new software skills as needed to complete job responsibilities.

**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $26.50 per hour
