The Shipping Logistics Specialist will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of the Shipping/Traffic functions and will be responsible for making sure products reach their destinations safely, securely, and on-time. The Shipping Logistics Specialist will be required to prepare and process outbound shipping requests. We value diverse skills and experience, so don’t hold back. This position is an onsite role.
This position is located at the Raytheon Dine Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX Dine Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.
What you will do:
Meeting on time deliverables including program costs and scheduling requirements.
Organize transportation activities, including managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
Coordinate and certify shipments in accordance with 49 CFR, IATA, and the Defense Transportation Regulations.
Maintain traffic accountability records, oversee the delivery, and arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material.
Prepare domestic and international shipping labels, Hazardous declarations, Bill of Lading, and airway bills for outbound movement.
Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways.
Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule
Prioritizing daily workloads and maintain quality throughout the shipment process.
Communicating directly with internal and external customers
Qualifications You Must Have:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience in a logistics, supply chain or related field
Must have a valid driver’s license.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with shipping and packing hazardous materials for domestic movement.
Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis
Experience with SAP Application – PRISM Systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Applications, i.e. Excel, Word
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
