Job Summary

The purpose of the position is to ensure the logistics necessary to accomplish the deliveries for the customers (shipping program), the reception for raw materials, packaging and supplies and the transfers among IFF, management of external warehouse.

Responsibilities/Description:

Define the shipping program for the customers through full process (1) Coordinate the transportation contractors and manage their financial process; 2) Ensure correct conditioning process for each delivery. 3) Keeping constant communication to Customer Service DepartmentProvide freight costs within the organization for all shipmentsPersonnel management including managing over time, training and mentoring. shifts programing, minimizing delays and supporting export team with deliveries for internal and external warehouse.Adhere to all company policies, rules and regulations and committed to company’s quality and continuous improvement programs such as MS ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001Receive shipment documentation, validate information, and prepare necessary paperwork. Prepare appropriate documentation including import licensesUnderstand and apply the fundamentals of imports and exports.Maintain integrated relationship with Broker, Freight Forwarder and Customs (meetings and updates)Interact with warehouse for appropriate packaging/repackaging for meeting customer needs.

Requirements:

Business Administration, Supply Chain or Logistics degreeCertificate or Training in Logistics & Supply Chain2-4 plus years' experience in Logistics and Supply Chain related workKnowledge of MS Office tools and automated systemsFluent business English communication skillsHighly collaborative and team playerProactive thinking

Training / Certifications:

SAP basic training on functional areas of expertise or ERP systems training
