MAU is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our client in Conyers, GA. As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will oversee the receipt, inspection, documentation, and shipment of materials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to the appropriate destinations.
What We Offer $16.00 per hour Second Shift | Sunday - Thursday; 4:00PM - 12:30AM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Opportunity for advancement Referral program What We're Looking For High school diploma required; associate degree preferred 1–3 years in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment Forklift skills required; certification preferred Ability to stand for long periods, use hands and fingers efficiently, and move freely throughout the facility Fast-paced, high-volume setting requiring strong attention to detail Proactive, able to work independently without supervision Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and have the ability to bend, stoop and reach What You’ll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Associate Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and products against shipment records Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods Record received and shipped items following established procedures Supervise receiving and shipping processes, ensuring compliance with procedures Oversee the inspection of goods and maintain records of damaged, defective, or discrepant items Document time, date, quantity, source, and destination of received or shipped materials Ensure proper documentation, including certified weight tickets, to verify accurate product receipt Match shipment details such as date and truck/trailer number to ensure accuracy Verify product weight using certified CAT scale records, ensuring correct purchase amounts Ensure timely shipment of goods to manufacturing facilities, customer locations, or distribution centers
