Join a growing team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate, where you will be responsible for lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products using cranes, hoists, or forklifts. You will also support the administration of incoming and outgoing parcels.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming/outgoing shipments.
Verify shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and prepare items for dispatch.
Direct the movement of shipments from dock to storage or work areas.
Prepare and complete bills of lading and shipping labels.
Assemble or select containers for shipments (wooden or cardboard).
Insert items into containers for safe transport.
Communicate with department supervisors to ensure smooth material flow.
Review and update records for stock level accuracy and compliance.
Request materials and supplies as needed.
Prepare routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders.
RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: 1–3 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Familiar with MRP systems, email, spreadsheets, and word processing software. Able to navigate and enter data into electronic systems.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift/move up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs).
Must have full visual capabilities including depth perception and color vision.
