Our client, a large manufacturing company, is looking for a Shipping Tech to join their team in Bakersfield, CA. This role plays a key part in the fulfillment process by accurately handling shipping and receiving tasks, managing inventory flow, and maintaining warehouse organization and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Process shipping and receiving of goods, RMAs, materials, and equipmentPerform accurate check-ins of inbound items, label inventory, and place items in proper bin locationsShip outbound items with appropriate packaging and labeling to avoid damage or lossComplete and maintain Job Travelers with accurate inventory details and location transfersIdentify and report discrepancies, assisting management in issue resolutionConduct safety inspections of equipment and suggest process improvementsMaintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with company standardsAssist with kitting, warehouse cleaning, and other fulfillment tasks as neededFollow all company policies and safety procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of warehouse experienceFamiliarity with shipping software, email, and inventory systemsKnowledge of modern warehousing procedures, inventory management, and space utilizationExcellent communication skills and ability to work well with internal and external teams

Pay & Schedule:

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
