Job Description

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is a leader in energetic and non-energetic system solutions offered to aerospace, satellite, and defense customers for a wide variety of applications.  EBAD products and capabilities set the U.S. standard and are highly sought after in the international community.

EBAD seeks a Shipping/Receiving Clerk. This position is located in Moorpark, CA, and reports to the Materials Supervisor.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Receives and counts materials deliveredPerforms inventory, receiving, and shipping transactions in ERP systemProcesses outgoing shipmentsMay support production kitting and cycle countingMay physically transport materials to and from work areasMaintain inventory accuracy and record keeping using ERP SystemMonitors and maintains minimum quantities of shelf-life sensitive itemsWork within a team structure to achieve company and department goalsKeep work area neat and clean and follow all established safety guidelinesPerform additional duties related to specific area assignments

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND DUTIES

High school diploma or GED required. Must meet ITAR & BATFE requirementsMinimum one year related experienceExperience in shipping/receivingDOT/IATA Certification preferredForklift Certification preferredBasic computer skills, some knowledge of components in stock is preferredMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionMust be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management and   customers (internal and external)Meticulous with a high attention to detailAble to lift and carry 25 pounds

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $20 - $28 hourly. Pay is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
