Our client in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a skilled Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. This position is integral to ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and shipment of goods within the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and electric rider jacks, while maintaining accuracy and safety in all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and electric rider jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse.Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments, verifying that contents match purchase orders for accuracy.Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and verifying contents to ensure correctness.Accurately update inventory records and actively participate in regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment.Qualifications:
Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, with proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and electric rider jacks.Valid forklift certification is preferred.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and order processing.Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy items as required.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.Pay and Schedule:
Monday to Friday8:00 AM – 5:00 PM$20.00 per hour
