Job Description

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Responsible for material movement within the manufacturing process.  Assist in loading/unloading trucks.  Maintain visual workplace standards throughout daily duties while supporting warehouse and facility by:

•           Working with various departments to ensure materials are supplied to machines

•           Stage materials at machines in accordance with work orders

•           Organize and put away materials during inventory

•           Using RF to perform cycle counts

•           Assisting in loading and unloading shipping freight

•           Picking and shipping daily orders

•           General warehouse maintenance

•           Helping to support other departments when needed

•           Complete required paperwork including Visual Check sheets

•           Operating forklift in safe and efficient manner

•           Actively participating in EHS and CI activities

•           Maintaining work area and keeping department clean All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:  Prior Shipping/Receiving experience is preferred.  Must have ability to operate with minimal guidance from Team Lead or Shift Supervisor, trouble shoot issues that may arise and be self-sufficient.  Must be motivated to achieve department and facility goals.

Specific Skills:  Ability to multi-task is essential.  Knowledge of shipping/handling procedures.  Candidate should have excellent attention to detail and be computer literate.  Must have the ability and willingness to work in a team-based environment, assist others in and outside of department when needed and lead by example while focusing on Safety, Detail and Quality.  Candidate must also believe in promoting a positive culture within the facility focused on Pride, Ownership and Accountability. (POA) It is expected the candidate will progress into the Shipping & Rec’v Clerk Role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs.

Willing and able to stand and walk for a 12 hour shift

Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting

Frequent use of wrist and hands

Frequent stepping up and down from platforms
