We are currently hiring an overnight Shipping Clerk in Woodbridge, VA** **Email your resume to** **marb621@kellyservices.com** **Sunday through Thursday 6:30pm – 3am** **Paying $17-$18 per hour** **Responsibilities:** + Route deliveries using company software (training provided) and arrange inbound product deliveries, including pick-ups via air, ocean, and road transit.Follow guidance from Replenishment Specialists and refer to purchase order (PO) information. + Accurately track inbound shipments and update PO ETAs in the ERP system. + Liaise with the Customer House Broker for import clearance and manage logistics for shipments between company locations. + Maintain a regular shipment schedule, coordinate scheduling changes, and resolve issues as they arise. + Manage carrier costs and compliance, including tracking price increases and renegotiating rates annually. + Collaborate with the Replenishment Director to secure the best terms with carriers and identify cost-saving opportunities. + Work with the Vendor Relations Director to determine optimal shipping arrangements with vendors. + Contribute to team efforts by performing additional tasks as necessary. **Qualifications:** + Strong ability to follow instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures. + Exceptionally advanced attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in routing and clerical tasks. + Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for professional email communication and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking. + Fluent in both written and verbal English; Spanish is a plus but not required. + Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. + Adaptable and capable of performing various clerical duties, including invoicing and administrative tasks. + Physically capable of moving around the warehouse as needed to complete assigned tasks. + Punctual and reliable, with flexibility to handle different desk assignments based on operational needs.
