Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
Duties/Responsibilities
Performs transactions in the material management system to reflect the movements of materialLoads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific directions which may include shipping and/or receivingTransport material between buildings for production replenishment, return to stocks, as well as deliver received packages, via box truck, panel truck, or forkliftStock received items.Perform cycle counts when time permitsBasic Qualifications:
High School Diploma with at least 5 years' experience.
Candidate must be able to work independently or collaboratively as a team to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Must have valid Driver's License.Must have Forklift Certification.Must have experience loading/unloading and securing truck loads to ensure safe transport.Able to lift up to 25 lbs. by hand.Willing to work occasional overtime.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with logistics/warehouse.
Experience in computers and computer processes.
Experience working in the aerospace industry.
Experience working under the safety and security requirements of a secure government facility.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
Experience using Cognos Analytics software.

Salary Range: $43,100.00 - $71,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
