The RoleAt Cogent ourShipping & Receiving Coordinatoris responsible for warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, inventory organization, and warehouse organization as needed. This is a wonderful opportunity in a growing fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for + Receives, unpacks, verifies and records all inbound shipments + Packs, addresses, and documents all outbound shipments + Assists customers by loading and unloading equipment needing serviced + Coordinate all shipments with appropriate shipping vendors + Maintain relationships with shipping vendors + Inventory cycle counting and organization + Assists in general labor to maintain organization and efficiency of the warehouse + Continuous improvement of delivery, quality, efficiency and safety in their team PositionShipping & Receiving Coordinator Position Requirements Our Ideal Candidate + Organized with great attention to detail + Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse coordination + Solid basic computer knowledge + Learns quickly when facing new problems: a relentless desire to learn, open to change, strives for continuous improvement of self and processes + Solid communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas + Responds with a sense of urgency and thrives in a fast-paced work environment + Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously + Works well independently or with a team + Customer-first attitude + Ability to physically lift heavy items required, up to 70 lbs + Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; Class E license preferred + Ability to drive a forklift (or within 90 days of hire) (requirement) – training will be provided Who We AreCogent is a growing, Midwest company that provides creative and innovative fluid processing solutions.
