Position Overview:
As part of the talented Shipping & Receiving team, you will own the end-to-end shipping and receiving process.

Essential Functions:
Own the shipping and receiving process – end to endEnter into Plant 4 systems the Shipping, Receiving, Packaging and Returns TransactionsHandle Driver queries, who are dropping off or collecting productInputs data to create required transportation/internal documentsOrganizes and maintains file system of required documentsInteracts with accounting and vendors to resolve receipt and payment issuesFacilitates cycle counts and inventory adjustmentsHeat Treat transactions – normalizationRunning picks for sister plantsContainer booking/building/scheduling/staging etcSadoff hopper managementIn-transit tracking and resolutionReviews documents created and make revisions as requiredCreates and submits ideas for continuous improvementOrders office suppliesPrepare for and assist during the annual physical inventory processOccasional vacation coverage for other areas (e.g. plt 98, training will be provided)Ability to troubleshoot occasional printer/printing related problemsDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:

About Plant 4
Plant 4 machines gears, driveshafts, propshafts, pinons, clutches and a variety of other components used in Mercury Outboard and MerCruiser Engines. We supply to both Domestic and Chinese engine assembly operations along with supplying replacement parts for existing engines to our P&A distribution hub. Plant 4 has recently completed a significant multimillion-dollar machinery investment program and our next steps entering 2025 will be solidifying the transactional systems and processes to support those new investments. Plant 4 is a fast paced, exciting operation with many available opportunities for the right person to make a significant impression and improvements in the day to day running of operations.
