Job DescriptionAbout the role:Monitor scheduled activities by shift concerning orders, door assignments, dispatch of trucks, and contract carriers supporting production and multiple other departments daily. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.
How you will contribute:Clean and organize ambient warehouse, H3 Chemical Storage Room, +5, -20 and TSA cages.
Receive and fill orders.
Perform Physical/Cycle Counts.
Inspect incoming materials.
Operate PIT equipment.
Prepare receipt documentation and tags material.
Perform Put Aways of material and intermediates.
Pull material/chemicals for all incoming requisitions.
Pull requisitions for intermediates.
Complete all incoming requisitions (MSR, WTR, MTL). Verify all staged material and keys out requisitions.
TSA, IATA and DOT certified. Completes TSA documentation.
Complete documentation/orders for all domestic and international shipments.
Work with Logistics team to coordinate shipments.
Packs/ships domestic and international samples and intermediates, hazmat materials and returns.
Perform dispositioning with manufacturing.
Transacts and delivers materials to manufacturing.
Partner with QARI to receive/process incoming temperature controlled shipments.
Participate in process improvement activities and Tier meetings.
Perform removal of hazardous waste, if applicable.
What you bring to Takeda:High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years of related experience or AA or higher with no prior experience required.
Knowledge of intrastate driving requirements.
Must be proficient in written and oral English
Proficient in warehouse management systems and pc environments.
Can operate material handling equipment.
Count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
Required to monitor facility conditions about safety, cleanliness, temperature, and general operational function.
Important ConsiderationsAt Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. You may:
May wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and other clean room garments daily. This may include safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, full body gowns, hair nets and gloves and hearing protection.
Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
Work in a cold, wet environment.
Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours.
Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
Can work on multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
Can work non-traditional work hours or work overtime.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
Exposure to warehousing and manufacturing areas at +5°C including storage freezer at –20°C and exposure to human blood plasma.
In general, your work will be a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.
Can work overtime. (only for non-exempt positions)
May work in a confined area.
Some Clean Room and cool/hot storage conditions.
DOT medical exam certificate.
Successful completion of Department of Transportation (DOT) and Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) background check along with continued compliance.
Complete the hands-on road test in our bobtail truck
Will need to guide between Van Nuys and Los Angeles sites.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives.
