As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist Lead here at Honeywell, you will be\nresponsible for overseeing and coordinating the shipping and receiving\noperations at our Dayton, OH location. You will play a crucial role in ensuring\nthe efficient flow of goods and materials within our supply chain network. Your\nleadership and expertise will contribute to maintaining a seamless flow of\nproducts, meeting customer expectations, and enhancing overall supply chain\nefficiency.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of our supply chain\noperations. You will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving\nteam, coordinating transportation methods, optimizing warehouse space, and\nensuring timely deliveries. Your attention to detail and ability to adapt to\nchanging demands will be essential in maintaining the highest level of customer\nsatisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and coordinate shipping and\nreceiving operations, including loading and unloading of trucks, verifying\nincoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional\nteams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization\nand implement efficient storage and organization methods.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with\nsafety and security regulations in the shipping/receiving area.
• Identify areas for process\nimprovement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize inventory management systems\nto track and manage inventory levels.
• Resolve any shipping/receiving\ndiscrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in using SAP.
