Shipping & Receiving Lead Needed in Baytown, TX!

 

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Lead to join our team in Baytown, TX. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in shipping, receiving, and forklift operations. As a lead, you will oversee dock activities, ensure accurate documentation, and help drive efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse logistics environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy in storage, handling, and documentation. Manage inventory and maintain organized records of packaged materials. Lead, train, and support a team by conducting pre-shift briefings and ensuring punctuality and productivity. Operate forklifts (sit-down) and perform general warehouse tasks when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Provide exceptional customer service and foster positive working relationships with employees, vendors, and clients. Assist in implementing and learning new warehouse management systems (WMS).

 

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (must be available for weekends and holidays as needed).

 

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. Payday is every Friday!

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience in a fast-paced shipping & receiving warehouse environment. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (bilingual a plus). Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to lift 55-100 lbs. and work in both indoor/outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. Valid/current driver’s license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new WMS systems. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
