This position reports to

Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Your role and responsibilities

Operation of various fork trucks and in-plant-vehicles. Duties involve pulling parts in warehouse, placing new incoming product in racks, delivering parts to plant production areas, stacking motors, wrapping finished pallets of motors, and loading/unloading freight. Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Must have good computer skills. Requires regular walking, lifting, bending, and twisting. Able to work in multiple areas and stand for entire shift. Willing to cross-train, operate multiple machines, willing to work overtime, and willing to be a team player. Must attend training which includes forklift, hazardous materials, hoist & crane, and fall-protection. Must keep area clean as needed and meet productivity goals. Position includes rotation to other jobs within facility. Must be able to follow work-instructions and make or deliver parts according to specifications. Must be able to read English and able to communicate effectively. Notify supervisor when repairs are required. Use computers to enter performed work, read work instructions, and report work orders. Working safely is the top priority! Safety rules must always be followed. Safety protocol & PPE requirements must be followed. Regular & predictable attendance is required. Must be capable of following instructions, using various websites, and contacting vendors directly for a variety of activities such as surveys, benefits enrollment, reporting safety issues, making personal information/banking changes. ABB has a Code-of Conduct that must be followed.

Qualifications for the role

Education and Experience:\tBasic computer skills required\t12-months experience is required\tHigh School diploma or equivalent required\tExperience in a motor-manufacturing facility preferred \tExcellent customer-service skills are required\tEffective multitasking is mandatoryPhysical Requirements:\tMust be capable of moving about the facility\tMust be able to work in hot & cold environments\tAble to lift 50 lbs. and push carts that weigh more than 300 lbs.\tMust be able to either sit or stand in the performance of job duties, often for prolonged periods of time each\tMust be able to bend, squat, kneel, and reach\tMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion\tVisual acuity is necessary in diagnosing issues with processes or products\tAbility to work in an aggressive due date environment.\tAble to work a flexible schedule including periodic after hours and week-end work*This is a Safety-Sensitive position. Medical Marijuana card holders may be ineligible.
