As a Cold Storage Shipping and Receiving Operator at Lineage, you'll be a crucial part of our operations. You'll be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading trucks in a temperature-controlled environment, using a stand-up forklift.

***Part-Time Position***KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Read and follow computerized work orders in English to determine quantities and types of products to be shippedChange over pallets for picking, visually inspect items for damages or flawsUnload pallets utilizing a docker forklift from truck and place on conveyer belts to be put awayLoad pallets off of conveyer belts into trucks utilizing a docker forklift.Document and report damages to supervisors or leadsAlert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problemHelp clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)Must be able to identify products through reading (English ), interpreting, and scanning pallet identification numbersAbility to understand instructions in EnglishExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailPrior experience with docker machineAbility to work in cold temperatures (36 degrees) while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
