Job Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsOversee adherence to shipping processes for domestic and international shipmentsMaintain shipping staff performance through training, monitoring, coaching, and performance managementConduct regular audits and implement preventative maintenance protocols to ensure facility and equipment integrityRespond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and inquiriesConduct short- and mid-term capacity planning to align labor and equipment resources with demandRecruit, select, orient, and train employees to meet shipping staffing needsMonitor shipping workflow indicators and address exceptions proactivelyTroubleshoot complex inventory and shipping errors, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsGuide and manage the packing and shipping process to ensure timely delivery to customersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to promote efficient workflows and positive working relationshipsConduct training for employees on safety, quality, business processes, and HR policiesInterface with the Sales Administration Team to obtain shipping instructionsEnsure trade complianceRequirements:
AA degree or equivalent experience3-5 years of leadership experience in OEM volume shippingAbility to thrive under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with warehouse management systemsProficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Familiarity with operating and maintaining various warehouse material handling equipmentExperience in trade complianceMust be on-site at A10 San Jose HQ five days a week and available to work weekends or as neededStrong organizational and process-oriented mindsetHands-on approach, actively working with staff in day-to-day operationsAbility to lift approximately 40-50 lbs periodicallyDesired Skills:
