This role manages Collaboration Ecosystems with external key collaboration and innovation partners.
Under China Strategy and Business Development team, this role establishes and maintains collaboration with key external stakeholders e.g. top hospital/research institute with specific-set of disease area, innovation partners, to develop strategic research collaboration network in China. Meanwhile, this role also acts as key expert for internal stakeholders in terms of disease areas level, he/she guides, leverages, and facilitates resources for research innovation. Eventually, this role drives collaboration solution architect set-up as an key expert both internally and externally, build up and manages the Collaboration Ecosystems.
Tasks and responsibilities
1. Manage Collaboration Ecosystems with external key collaboration and innovation partners
2. Co-lead/support strategic research collaborations engagement with top hospital/research institute with specific-set of disease (Stroke, CAD, lung cancer, liver cancer)
3. Act as both key experts and collaboration solution architect during engagement, proposal, and execution.
4. Build disease-oriented knowledge among scientific teams to foster engagement on disease level
5. Implement a growth plan to develop strategic research collaboration network in China
6. Guide and facilitate direction and utilization of internal and external resources for research innovation.
7. Set up successful “Key Account” collaboration management
Expected Experience & Background
1. C-Level Customer Engagement
• Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationship with senior clients, actively identity client’s needs and manage expectations, and offer solution accordingly, able to build and maintain relations with global experts
• Track record in leading discussion on collaboration project or OR product offerings with senior clients e.g., hospital management team or clinical department head.
2. Disease knowledge
• Understanding one or more disease area diagnoses and treatment paradigm, able to build disease-centric xBL-product offerings
3. Research Experience
• Able to comprehend research topics and siemens technology application in research projects
4. Product Knowledge
• Good knowledge of product features and clinical applications of at least one modality
• Multi-modality knowledge as a plus
