Mission/Position Headline:

The role is responsible for supporting SHS China entities in achieving their high-tech enterprise goals by providing technical assessments and recommendations, conducting interviews with key R&D personnel to understand business and R&D activities, collecting technical information to identify R&D projects, recognizing project strengths and determining submission scopes, offering advice on identifying core intellectual property, articulating eligibility arguments from a technical perspective, conducting detailed reviews of relevant information, preparing technical documents, and exploring and uncovering new R&D opportunities.

Responsibilities:

•            Support SHS China entities on HNTE target fulfillment, provides high quality regular technical assessment / recommendation to Taxes and local management.

•            Plan and conduct interviews with the R&D key persons (i.e., R&D head, project managers) of different BLs to understand the business and R&D relevant activities, products/service profile and key projects with technical highlights.

•            Collect technical information with operational key researchers and/or engineers to identify R&D activities and define eligible R&D projects.

•            Identify technical merits and scope R&D projects for submission to authority.

•            Advise different BLs on identifying core IP.

•            Articulate eligibility arguments from technical perspective for the HNTE status and R&D super-deduction.

•            Detailed review of the information gathered during the above process of HNTE and super-deduction, and subsidies application.

•            Prepare R&D project reports and other technical related documents.

•            Despite existing R&D activities, dig out and explore new R&D opportunities in group and discuss with R&D team.

Requirements: 

•            At least 5 year working experience in building authorities relationship and supporting high-new Technology Enterprise maintenance and set up.

•            Strong ability in interacting and engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholders

•            Strong ability in project management and execution

•            Fluent in English and Chinese

•            Bachelor or above degree
