Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to: + Creates and processes Tee Times for all patrons + Coordinates Tee Times with the Starter + Assists customers and professional staff in golf shop merchandise sales Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: + Handles incoming phone calls + Assists patrons in the Golf Pro Shop + Assists with tournament play, as needed Minimum Education and Qualifications: + High School Diploma or equivalent + One year of experience at a golf course + A working knowledge of the game of golf + A valid Driver’s License Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: + Good written and verbal communication skills + Good organizational and multi-tasking skills + Excellent customer service and telephone skills Training Requirements: + Working knowledge of the JOANAS Golf Management System + Working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the game of golf Physical Demands and Work Environment: + Must be able to stand for long periods of time + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. + Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions + Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
