Job Summary
Supervise and direct associates involved in inspection, maintenance and operation of equipment on customer job site or other remote locations.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Supervises and directs field crew to include administering paperwork, transferring materials, machinery and associates to jobsite.Prepares estimates of time and materials needed for jobs using work plans, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.Manages relations with contractors.Delegates job duties to field crews.Leads daily safety meetings; responsible for 24 hour emergency call out.Communicates with customers.Nature and Scope
Experience provides solutions.Ensures that work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures.Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.Work Environment
Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors.Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.Preferred Qualifications
Small Engine Repair Experience, Forklift Experience, Foreman Experience
