Shop Foreman
ManTech is seeking a skilled, professional, and service-oriented **Shop Foreman** to join our vehicle sustainment team. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems. + Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations. + Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment. + Troubleshoots issues that arise. + Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems. + Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. + Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly. + Performs other related duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications:** + Must be U.S. Citizen. + 12+ years of maintenance experience in one or more of the following: light or heavy-duty trucks, ground power units, aircraft tugs, air conditioning and heater units, cargo loaders, de-icing vehicles, runway sweepers, light carts, fuel and defuel equipment. + Proven maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance. + Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems. + Demonstrated experience in providing formal, over the shoulder, and on the spot training to contractor and unit personnel. + Proven communicator in verbal and written disciplines to include basic computer skills and document preparation. + Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening. + Possession of a valid Host Nation Driver’s License is required (OR) the ability to obtain a valid driver’s license before beginning employment. + High School Diploma or GED. **Desired Qualifications:** + Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations. + Experience with simultaneous maintenance, modification, and repair projects on a variety of maintenance actions, tasks, or repairs. + 3+ Years of Supervisory experience. **Clearance Requirements:** + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel. + Must be able to push, pull, and reach. + Must be able to work in high noise areas. + Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts. + Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
