ProLogistix is currently hiring Shop Helpers to take on day shift job opportunities in North Charleston. These are career opportunities that are part of an automotive repair shop supporting the Tri-County area. The work is fast-paced, and requires lifting 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. Must be skilled with hand tools and have a desire to learn automotive repairs.

Pay:  $17.00 for day shift  (Unlimited referral bonuses!)

Day Shift:  7:30am – 4:30pm (must be flexible to work later hours and/or on weekends)

Job Duties as a Shop Helper for ProLogistix:

Repair and replace commercial and large equipment tires, perform fleet checks, and perform minor service and repairs on commercial customer vehicles Remove, install, rotate, balance and perform flat repairs on commercial and large equipment tires in shop Mount/dismount, install new or used tires Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality and overall health of the tire Check air pressure, repair punctures and replace faulty valves Operate balancer and complete wheel alignments

Load/unload tires from delivery trucks Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting Maintain, set up tire racks, organize, and clean shop and equipment Lifting requirement is 50 pounds Will be working in an automotive shop that is hot and humid during the summer and cold during the winter Stand for 8 to 10 hours per day May stay late or work on weekends as needed by workload Ability to work with a sense of urgency to get customers turned around quickly
